Berker is expanding its Q.7 switch program with surfaces made of metal, glass, slate, and concrete. The premium variants are aimed at upscale residential projects where switches and sockets serve as design elements. For electricians, this means new sales potential in consulting, but also higher demands on clean installation – scratches on glass surfaces cannot be concealed. The product expansion reflects an industry trend: builders are increasingly investing in visible electrical installations.
